Ardnahoe Inaugural Release
Ardnahoe announces the release of
their first single malt whisky,
appropriately named Ardnahoe
Inaugural Release, it is 5 Year Old,
produced with 40ppm malt so it
should be rather peaty and matured
in a combination of ex-bourbon and
ex-Oloroso sherry casks. If you want
taste it it will cost you £70 a
bottle.

statement addition to their core range,
Glenmorangie Triple Cask Reserve, and as
you could probably guess from its name
it is a combination of whiskies matured
in three types of casks. Their whisky makers have

oak with rye whiskey casks to create the whisky and they
describe the new expression as being
rich with flavours of pear, candied
orange, honeysuckle, and clove.
